2025/26 GUARANTOR AGREEMENT 

To the Church of Ireland and Methodist Chaplaincy Belfast

In consideration of your agreeing to accept........................................................................................................as a resident of the Student Centre of the Church of Ireland and Methodist Chaplaincy Belfast for academic year 2025/26 under the terms of the ‘Conditions of Occupancy Agreement 2025/26’

1.     I guarantee, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, the punctual payment of all fees payable by the Resident to the Chaplaincy, or any such party or parties as may succeed it as directed by Church of Ireland and Methodist Church in Ireland Belfast to govern the administration of the said premises, and agree to indemnify you in the event that fees are not paid, and for all associated penalties and costs;

2.     I agree to indemnify you for all loss or damage to the said premises, furniture and effects by the Resident, or through his or her negligence, or by reason of the non-fulfilment of any of the stipulations and conditions on the part of the Resident in the Conditions of Occupancy Agreement;

3.     I agree that my liability under this guarantee will not be affected by giving the Resident time to pay the amount due by him or her or by an amendment of the payment schedule for fees. Further, I accept that my guarantee will not be affected by the bankruptcy of the Resident

4.     I agree that if a Notice to Quit Residency is served by the Resident or by Church of Ireland and Methodist Chaplaincy Belfast for any reason that I will remain liable for all fees that remain payable under the Conditions of Occupancy. I am aware that if a Resident seeks to serve a Notice to Quit Residency prior to the full term of this Agreement, or if the Chaplaincy serves a Notice to Quit Residency following a breach of the terms of the Conditions of Occupancy by the Resident, that he or she remains liable for all fees payable for the full term of the Agreement unless and until such times as an alternative resident takes up residency and that my guarantee remains in place.

5.     I agree that if the Agreement shall be continued or extended or renewed, my guarantee shall apply to the additional term or terms. And if this agreement is signed by more than one person, my liability shall be joint and several.
