At the Hub, we have always been intentional about creating and living in community:
“It is important that the prime purpose of the Chaplaincy – that of being a centre for the work of the Church in and around the university – should be realised. The Chaplaincy is not a student hostel, but by having a few students actually living in the house, it is hoped to encourage others to make use of the facilities province for the whole body of the students in the university.”
– Rev. Edgar Turner, Chaplain in 1955
It means that as well as being home to 50 or so students during term time, we also host a wide range of events and opportunities for anyone to join in.
If you live near or attend Queen’s University, you are very welcome to any of the Events during the year, to hang out in the Hub Café, or to join us for church on a Sunday morning or night. You can even hire the café and church spaces (if available) for your own event of fundraiser.
